A wedding band is arguably one of the biggest and most important purchases you will make in the planning of your wedding, and for that reason choosing should be really exciting.
We are stockists of the Brown & Newirth range of wedding bands. Designed and handcrafted here in the UK, they have a team of highly skilled craftsmen that combine the best of traditional and state of the art technology.
So I thought I would take you through a few pointers to help make it easier before you begin your search for the perfect ring.
Points to consider are the weight, width and shape of the band. A great starting point is to look at the bride’s engagement ring, as the majority of brides like to match these key dimensions. And for the groom, who often is not used to picking out rings for himself, this can be a great reference point to look for wider versions.
Our wedding bands are available in platinum, white, yellow and pink gold and palladium.
Finish and pattern:
With each ring being handmade for you, we can offer a unique range of detail to our rings – from a simple satin finish to a combination of metals and beautiful patternation. For grooms looking for a wide band, a satin finish of a subtle pattern can look fantastic. And not to forget diamond set bands, that come in a wide range of styles from vintage style half eternities to sleek and modern.
We are able to inscribe your chosen message, date and even fingerprints to the inside of the wedding bands to make them especially personal.
Shape to fit:
Some engagement rings need a tailor-made band to sit flush together. This can be a simple wishbone or curved style band or, for some, this means having a bespoke ring to be created by simply taking a mould of your engagement ring.
For a simple band, it can take just 4 weeks to make, but for more intricate designs we may need longer so make sure you give yourself plenty of time to look and to have your ring created.
All are staff our trained and eager to help you find the perfect wedding ring, so come in and chat to us any time, there is no need for an appointment.
