Tustains are delighted to announce a closer association as official sponsors at the prestigious Dallas Burston Polo club in Warwickshire this year. They will be presenting the Emily Rose Bowl trophy and Tissot watch prizes to the winners of the Ladies 10 Goal Polo tournament during Polo in the Park day, Sunday 13th September. This is a well-established event in the Dallas Burston calendar and attracts between 4 and 5 thousand people each year to the stunning location on the Stoneythorpe estate in Southam.
Tom Milner, director at Tustains, is pleased with the new sponsorship, which carries on the tradition of successful sporting links in the past for the Leamington Spa Jewellery business. “Last year we ran a very well received series of ‘local sporting hero awards’ in association with our local paper, the Leamington Courier and Tissot watches, and we’re also long term official sponsors for the local real tennis and football clubs. As keen sportsmen ourselves, both Joe and I enjoy making a contribution to the local sporting community. It’s the first time we’ve worked in partnership with a Polo club and we’re looking forward to developing closer ties through the social membership projects with the Polo club in the next months and years”.
Marketing and Events Co-ordinator at the Club, Ella Cloake would like to see a closer ties develop between the high end jewellers and the club. “Dallas Burston are looking forward to working with all our new local sponsors and we’re particularly excited to be giving a higher profile to women’s polo. Polo is a mixed sport, but we are aiming to celebrate the achievements of the talented women’s teams which currently receive a lower profile but are just as exciting to watch.”
Tustains will be giving the Rose Bowl trophy a make-over before it is presented this year and will also provide the winning players with Tissot ladies watches.
