Tustains offer customers an increased choice of service, both in store and online, by adding their new ‘click and collect from store’ shopping option to their website. Tustains are now offering customers the very latest in service choices. Traditionally customers have visited the store to talk to staff and buy their jewellery and watches. In June this year Tustains added the option to shop online though their new e-commerce website. Now, as Christmas approaches, they’ve added a third option to their website– click and collect in store. This new service allows customers to browse online but then check their purchase with Tustains expert staff when they pay for their goods and collect them from the store.
Joe Milner, who has been working recently to improve website for Tustains commented “We believe that customers appreciate being able to choose how, when and where they buy from us. For some people, with busy lives, it’s easier to browse through our collections online at a time that suits them”. Because online shopping can be an impersonal experience, Tustains wanted to offer an online click and collect from us in the store option as it allows our customers to see and try the products or talk to us about their selection, when they come into the store. Joe continued “ We hope to welcome both our regulars and new customers to shop with us this way. We think it will help, especially in the very busy period up to Christmas, if we offered a complete range of both online and traditional style retail service.”
For those customers who wish to do everything completely online, we offer a free delivery service. The new Click and Collect service allows you to choose products online, which we will keep in store for you, reserved for the next 7 days. People can come in to collect products and pay for them in the normal way, at a convenient time for them. To use the service, simply select products and add them to you shopping basket. When you then press the ‘proceed to checkout’ button there is an option either to pay online or select the ‘Click and collect – pay in store’ option. Instead of posting out your order we will reserve it for you for 7 days. Whichever option you choose we hope you be completely satisfied with any purchase made from our site.
Tustains are in good company as many of our national chains of high street retailers are adding ‘click and collect’ options. Recently, the online retailer E-Bay have added the service, using a high street retailer Argos as a partner .They recognise that online shopping often lacks a personal touch for the customer. Next and John Lewis have also recently announced new click and collect schemes to combine the advantages of both face to face customer service with the convenience of shopping online in the comfort of your own home. Click-and-collect is increasingly popular in the UK, with an Econsultancy online shopping survey finding that 40 per cent of shoppers used it over Christmas last year.
