"CMJ celebrates best in jewellery industry at the Hot 100"

Last night's annual Hot 100 event revealed this year's most exciting and revolutionary figures in the jewellery industry, and the Company of Master Jewellers (CMJ) had much to celebrate, with many of its retailers and suppliers amongst the list.

The party to reveal this year's list too place at London's Freemason's Hall, an impressive and decadent venue perfectly suited to the occasion. The CMJ was once again principle partner of the Hot 100, which chief executive Willie Hamilton said demonstrated the CMJ's support of new talent and business innovation.

He said: "The CMJ leads the way on support, innovation and best practice for independent retailers and their supplier partners, working in collaboration to bring the best possible value to all the links that make up the jewellery supply chain. Firmly established in its third year, the Hot 100 is now a well recognised, highly prized and much sought-after inclusion in anyone's portfolio."

Retail Stars celebrates UK jewellers who have demonstrated world-class retail skills, and the Hot 100 this year includes:

  • Dominic & Melanie Wakefield of Wakefields
  • Tom and Joe Milner of Tustains
  • Jason Allum of Allum & Sidaway
  • Helen Dimmick of Green + Benz
  • Lisa and Jon Quayle of Justice
