Next year's event has been teed up nicely by the huge success of Tustains inaugural golf day held recently at Stoneleigh Deer Park.
Over twenty teams took to the course to compete for the coveted Tustains Super Classic Bowl, but there were plenty of other prizes on offer. The 'Hole In One' prize of a gold Omega watch went unclaimed but numerous 'Nearest The Pin' and 'Longest Drive' challenges gave the golfers plenty to play for in the late September sunshine. Over twenty teams took part before heading to the clubhouse for a well earned awards dinner. Bidvest Foodservice scooped top prize, becoming the first ever winners of the Tustains Super Classic with 91 points, but the real winners were Myton Hospice who took away nearly £12,000.
Tom Milner of Tustains said, "we've had a great time raising a superb amount of money for Myton. Several of this year's teams have already committed themselves to next year's event so I would urge people to be quick off the mark when registration opens for 2017."
