With the Formula 1 season well underway, Tag Heuer have launched their 40th anniversary Monza – or to give it its full title, the ‘2016 Heuer Monza Calibre 17 Chronograph’.
Marking the launch of the first Monza back in 1976, this new model combines the case from the 2000 watch with the black and red dial from the 1976 model.
Since first being launched, the Monza has undergone many transformations but its design has always kept a classic look due to its roots to the Tag Heuer cushion-shaped 1930’s model, and has become one of Tag’s ‘most coveted watches’.
What you need to know about the 2016 Monza:
- Launched at the 2016 Baselworld show
- Limited to 2000 models
- Titanium case, blackened with titanium carbide
- 42mm case size
- Domed sapphire crystal
- Single strap option in calfskin
If you are a fan of the Monza range, this new watch will definitely live up to all expectations. And if you’re looking for a stylish strap watch, this should definitely be tried on. And if you want to be one of the first to have this on your wrist, you can place a deposit now.
